Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the Eye ER mobile app ("the app") handles information. The app is published by Chloe Enterprises LLC ("we," "us"). In short: the app has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. The only information that leaves your device is feedback you choose to send.

Information we do not collect

  • We do not require an account, name, email address or login.
  • We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking software, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
  • We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, health data or device identifiers.
  • We do not sell or share personal information.

Information stored only on your device

The app saves the topics you bookmark, your recently viewed topics, and whether you have accepted the disclaimer. This stays in the app's storage on your device and is never sent to us. You can clear recent topics in the app, and deleting the app removes all of it.

Feedback you choose to send

Each topic has an optional feedback box. If you send feedback, the app transmits:

  • the message you type,
  • your email address, only if you choose to enter one so we can reply,
  • the topic you were viewing, the app and content version, and your device platform (iOS or Android).

Feedback is delivered through Formspree, a form-processing service that forwards it to the editor by email. Formspree processes it under its own privacy policy. We use feedback only to correct and improve the app's content and to reply to you if you asked us to. We keep it only as long as needed for that purpose.

Please do not include patient names or any other patient-identifiable information in feedback.

If you choose "Email it instead," your own email app sends the message, and it is handled like any other email you send us.

Children

The app is intended for medical professionals and trainees. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your choices and requests

You can ask us to access or delete feedback you sent by writing to sidtchang@gmail.com. Please include roughly when you sent it and the email address you used, if any.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles information, we will update this page and its effective date before the change takes effect.
